Betfair is all about liquidity: the more people trade, the easier it is to find a matching bet. Therefore, to increase their liquidity, Betfair offers monetary incentives to everyone who brings new potential traders. Each friend you introduce to Betfair can earn you between £25 and £50. Moreover, extra bonuses of up to £2,000 are available, if your friends keep playing.
This tutorial from BetBubbles is divided into three chapters. The first one covers the nuances of opening a Betfair account, the second introduces Betfair’s Refer and Earn program, and the third lists Betfair bonuses and rewards.
Betfair Account
If you have not registered yet, head on to Betfair and click the “Join Now” link. Clicking the link will open a new page for registration, where you will be asked to fill in your personal information.
Once you are done with the personal details, click on “Agree and open account” and you will be taken to the welcome page as shown below.
From the welcome page navigate to “My Account” where, on the left bottom side of the page, you will find the Refer and Earn bar. Click on it and you will be presented with your unique, 9-letter, promotion code (see the screenshot below). Make sure you save this code – you will need it later.
Refer and Earn
The Refer and Earn program offers several methods to refer your friends to Betfair. You can send invitations via e-mail, Twitter, Facebook or alternatively use the good, old-fashioned word of mouth approach – just tell your friends about Betfair and provide them with your unique promotion code.
For e-mail invitations, click on “use our email invite tool” as shown on the screenshot above and Betfair will provide you with the email dispatching interface.
For Twitter and Facebook invitations, click on “Start referring today” and fill the names and emails of your friends as shown on the screenshot below.
Once your friends receive their invitation in one of the ways listed above, all they have to do is join Betfair with your unique promotion code. The “Betfair account details” section on Betfair’s registration page provides an interface for filling in the promotion code. Your friends will have to answer “Yes” to the “Do you have promotion or Refer and Earn Code?” question, and fill in the promotion code in the appropriate field. Once they meet one of the requirements listed in the next chapter, you both will be granted a bonus.
Betfair Bonuses
Betfair divides their bonuses into three main categories: sports, casino and other. For each category a different bonus applies:
- Sports – when your friend wagers £25 on any of the sport events, he’ll receive a £25 credit. You will receive £25 as well. Thus, for each new friend you earn £25.
- Casino – when your friend wagers £1,000 in the casino, he will receive a bonus of £50. You will receive a bonus of £50 as well.
- Other – each Betfair Point earned by your friend brings you additional money – the bonuses may reach as much as £2,000. The points are a function of commissions paid, and the table below summarizes the rewards during the first 3 months since registration.

As you can see, the process is rather simple: open a Betfair account, find your unique promotion code, introduce a friend to Betfair, and get your bonus. Rinse and repeat.
